American Airlines Arena

American Airlines Arena is a sports stadium in Miami, Florida.Built for the city basketball team, the Miami Heat.But now,all is empty.No Inspectors to clean and replace the floorboards.No fans to tend to the stadium.And no players to play at it's empty courts.Now, how long will the stadium endure?

1 day after people

In Miami, the city is empty.No one in the endless rows of seats.No one in the court to play another team.As power in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area fails, the stadiums lighting dims and the stadium goes dark.The scoreboard shuts out and the air conditioning turns off.

5 days after people

Animals have taken advantage of no humans around.The first to come here are small animals like the Racoon and stray cats and dogs.Elsewhere, cars in the parking lot are stranded here forever.Car exhaust spills from the cars into the parking lot.Within a few hours, the parking lot is unsafe for anyone.

10 years after people

A Hurricane slams into the city and smashing windows.Although the structure still stands, a large hole has opened up on the ceiling of the former stadium.Rain drips from the sky, leaking into the buildings and rotting the playing court of the arena.In the changing rooms, the lockers had all fallen and the clothes in them begin to degrade.

70 years after people

In Miami, the hole on the American Airlines Arena has worsened.Years of hurricanes and rainstorms leave the building covered in rust and vegetation.The endless rows of seats have now fallen into the damaged structure.The scoreboard is brought down by tree branches.Now, a rusted support buckles.The home court of the Miami Heat caves in and the walls push out.
